The Taste of the Downtown is part of the Merchant’s Market July 13-16. This event is a perfect opportunity to showcase to hundreds of locals and tourists a unique and delicious taste of what your restaurant can offer! Don’t miss the fun!
Visitors and shoppers love to “Sample their way around the City Centre Restaurants”!! Participating restaurants can offer samples in front of their restaurant or set up a table in the “Sizzle Strip”.
Last year’s improved “Passport to Taste” system was a big success and we raised $1450 for the local Food bank. For a minimum $5 donation to the Food Bank consumers receive a passport valid for a sample at all the participating restaurants. The passport system will not only raise money for the Food Bank, but ensure that only potential customers are visiting your establishment.

Enthusiastic participation in The Taste of the Downtown event is crucial to its success. The more participants, the more promotion we can give to all downtown restaurants. Please join the party by providing samples from your menu to pedestrians along Victoria Street on Thursday, July 14.
