Country Fair – Wednesday
The 400 Block Victoria St. will be closed from 8:00am to 3:00pm for an expanded Farmer’s Market. It will be like a Saturday Market on Wednesday!!
Taste of the Downtown Restaurant Showcase – Thursday
11:00 to 7:00 pm (Staggered sample times)
ALL STREETS OPEN THIS DAY Visitors and shoppers love to “Sample their way around the City Centre Restaurants”!! Participating restaurants offer samples from in front of their restaurant or on the “Sizzle Strip.” A special passport will be available for a $5 donation to the Kamloops Food Bank, consumers use this passport to receive samples at participating restaurants. Passports can then be entered in a draw!
United Way Community Carnivál – Friday
11:00 to 4:00pm
300 block of Victoria St will close. Local non-profit groups will be setting up a variety of fun “Carnival” games and activities for everyone to enjoy. Businesses can partner with a charity by supplying prizes or cash for prizes. 300 block merchants can come out into the street with a game/activity; proceeds to charity. Buskers Showdown – Saturday
10:00 am to 4:00 pm

Buskers will be located at several spots on the 200, 300 & 400 Blocks of Victoria St. We will have two categories Street performers and Musicians. Cash prizing: $500 1st Prize; 2nd place $200; 3rd place $100.

This is a full 20 x 20 covered stage set up in the middle of the (closed off) 200 Block Victoria St., featuring street performers, Buskers Showdown competitors, and various live demonstrations throughout the day.
Super Sidewalk Sale – Saturday
10am to 4pm – Join us on Victoria St.!!
We are encouraging businesses from the entire KCBIA area to join in on Victoria St. to take advantage of the traffic. Set up your display booth for no-charge (for BIA Businesses) in the 200 Block of Victoria St.
We have asked participants to pre-register in order to avoid any merchandise conflict with our Downtown businesses.
